About Us

Wendy XO Skincare and XO Day Spa are owned and operated by Wendy Hallsted. Wendy is a California licensed esthetician and skin care specialist. In 1993, Wendy obtained a Degree in Psychology, and was the President of the Honor Society while attending college. She began working in the beauty industry shortly after graduation.

 

Wendy is currently certified in medical and detoxifying microdermabrasion, manual lymphatic drainage massage, Jessner chemical peel training, TCA and Retinol peel training, corrective acneic facials, extractionless acne treatments, etc. Wendy diligently and actively attends continuing and advanced education courses, workshops, conferences and conventions several times per year.

 

We proudly donate often to local and national charities and organizations, such as The Pacific Beach Town Council, The Pacific Beach Women's Club, The Lupus Foundation, TACA (Talk About Curing Autism), The Laywers Club of San Diego, etc.

 

Wendy XO Skincare is proud to announce that we are the 2010 3rd Place Winner and 2011 4th Place Winner for Best Facial in San Diego according to the City Voter and the 10 News A-list. We are an active Pacific Beach Town Council business member and also a registered practicing member in good standing in the Aesthetics International Association.

 

As a native Californian, Wendy understands the effects the sun and the environment have on our skin and incorporates and utilizes the most productive anti-aging and preventative care. She utilizes exceptional product lines to satisfy every client's unique needs in each treatment, along with a personalized home care program that compliments each procedure.
